Bob Lowery, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Smith County wildlife officer was recently honored for his 30 years of service to the state. Lowery was presented his 30-year plaque by TWRA Executive Director Jason Maxedon at a ceremony at the TWRA’s headquarters in Nashville. Lowery is a 1986 graduate of Smith County High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech. He began his TWRA career in Macon County where he served for three years, before moving to neighboring Trousdale County for more than 20 years. He returned to his native Smith County where he has been the past six years. He has received several honors during his career, including being named the Dist
