Beach Rehabilitation project nearly complete says Dubai Municipality

Dubai Municipality has announced that its extensive project to revamp the city’s various public beaches will be completed in December of this year. The Beach Rehabilitation project includes Al Mamzar Corniche, Jumeirah 1 and Jumeirah 3 beaches, in addition to the expansion work to increase the area of the Umm Suqeim 1 beach, according to Dubai Municipality. The scope of work includes covering the beaches with additional beach sand and carrying out breakwater and other works to protect public beaches from erosion due to strong waves, providing the safest possible beach conditions.
