Amazon-backed EV maker Rivian recalls almost all its vehicles over loose fasteners

An electric vehicle maker backed by Amazon has issued a recall for almost all its vehicles over an issue with loose fasteners.  The electric vehicle company Rivian notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the safety recall on Thursday after it learned that the fastener connecting the front upper control arm and steering knuckle might have been improperly tightened.  A loose steering knuckle fastener could cause a driver to lose control of their vehicle and increase the chances of a crash, according to a letter that Alex Ansley, the chief of the NHTSA’s Recall Management Division, sent Friday to acknowledge Rivian’s notification of the recall.  The re
