The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics announced a decrease in the value of the trade balance deficit to US$ 3.75 billion during June, compared to $3.88 billion in the same month of the previous year. This is due to the decrease in the value of some commodities’ exports, the most important of which are: fertilizers by 20.9 percent, pasta and food preparations by 8.7 percent, flat-rolled products of iron or steel by 31.7 percent, and iron rods, angles and wires by 6.8 percent.
