In implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, an urgent relief aid shipment from the State of Qatar left for the sisterly Republic of Sudan to support the relief efforts made by Sudan due to the floods and torrential rains that occurred in different parts of Sudanese states. Qatar Fund for Development, in co-operation with the Qatari Amiri Air Force, transferred this aid through the Permanent Committee for Rescue, Relief and Humanitarian Aid in the afflicted areas in brotherly and friendly countries, in co-ordination with the designated authorities to deliver the aid to those affected.
