Aleppo, SANA- After stoppage lasted years due to crimes by terrorists who sabotaged and caused heavy damage to its facilities and equipment, Aleppo Thermal Plant resumed its work in generating the electricity and providing Syria with 200 Megawatt after the fifth set has been maintained by national experts and technicians. Speaking to SANA, General Director of the plant, Mazen Samaqiah, said that the plant ,25 km east of Aleppo, consists of five steam generating sets each of them with a capacity of 213 megawatt, was established by the Japanese corporation of Mitsubishi ,and it has operated since 1997.
