The Smith County Health Department provides a beneficial service to participants who smoke. The BABY & ME – Tobacco Free Program™ is designed to assist the participant to quit using tobacco products. To qualify for the program, participants must be a current tobacco product user or have quit within three months of becoming pregnant and be 36 weeks or less gestation. There are no guideline restrictions regarding age, insurance coverage, nor income levels. To participate in the BABY & ME – Tobacco Free Program™, you attend four prenatal sessions and 12 postpartum sessions.
