The man suspected of causing an explosion in a trailer parked at a Ukiah RV Park earlier this month has died, the Ukiah Police Department reported. UPD Detective Sgt. Rick Pintane said Monday that the suspect, a 56-year-old Ukiah man, died in a Sacramento County hospital after being severely injured in the explosion Sept. 9. His name is being withheld until it can be confirmed that his family has been notified.
