Karachi: The much-anticipated Green Line section of Bus Rapid Transit Service (BRTS), the first-ever modern mass transit system of Karachi, will become operational by early September, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said. Addressing the “Safe Karachi Conference”, Imran Ismail said the Prime Minister Imran Khan would be invited to launch the Green Line BRTS project. He said the manufacturing of the buses for Green Line Service in Karachi had started in China and their test drive completed. The buses are likely to reach Karachi by August 15.
