Kakar was taken to hospital in Karachi from Quetta last week after he suffered a brain haemorrhage and fell. He remained a senator from 2015 to 2021. His death was also confirmed by Liaquat Shahwani, the spokesperson for the Balochistan government. “Lala, you will be missed,” said Shahwani in a Twitter post.
