The US has taken delivery of over a million barrels of Iranian oil seized in March according to data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), Reuters has reported. According to recently released EIA data, 1.033 million barrels of Iranian crude oil was off-loaded onto US soil from the Liberian-flagged MT Achilleas, which had been seized by US authorities. The delivery marks the second time that Iranian oil has been transported to the US since 1991. The last delivery of Iranian oil to the US occurred in October 2020.
