Karachi: The Sindh government has decided that it will pay Rs1 million in compensation to the bereaved family of each of its in-service employees who died due to COVID-19. A decision to this effect was reached as the Sindh Cabinet met here at the Chief Minister House on Tuesday with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair. The compensation will also be applicable to the contractual employees of the Sindh government.
