Karachi: The Sindh government has said that it is going to start construction of the Red Line corridor of the proposed Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) in Karachi later this year with foreign assistance. Construction of over 26 kilometres-long Red Line corridor from Malir Halt till Naumiash intersection of Karachi will begin from July. The decision to this effect was made at a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah on Wednesday.
