Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 104 new coronavirus cases were recorded, 108 patients have recovered and 7 others have passed away. The Ministry added in a statement to SANA that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 20,435 till now, of which 14,230 have recovered, while 1,392 have passed away. The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd last year for a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
