The WhatsApp text states: “The workers who worked between the 1990 and 2021, have the right to receive the benefit of Dh4000 by Ministry of Labour UAE. Check if your name is in the list of the people who have the rights to withdraw this benefits.” The fake message mentions the UAE Ministry of Labour when in fact, the ministry was renamed as the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) back in 2016.
