The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Saturday reported 509 new confirmed Covid-19 cases during the last 24 hours, of which 420 were community cases and 89 were travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced the death of a 56 year old patient who was receiving the required medical care. MoPH also recorded 328 recoveries from the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 160,115. MoPH also said in a statement that 14480 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of vaccines given so far to 579338.
