1. My favorite person to hang with during Gilmore Girls was Jared Padalecki. I was very new to L.A., and Jared introduced me to his friends from Texas.
2. The scripts were often 80-something pages. Requirements to read for my role of Lindsay [were]: must be 5-foot-8 or taller and talk fast.
3. A favorite Marshals memory was with an equine therapist I’ve been working with. It was a meeting that [was] a reminder of how powerful TV can be.
4. My favorite kind of Saturday is rest, rot, repeat.
5. The last show I binged was Furious. Please watch it, talk about it, and inspire others — men — to talk about it. It’s Epstein, it’s Cornell, it’s every Jane Doe.
6. Growing up, I looked up to Robert Redford, Jim Carrey, Doris Day and Maya Angelou — and still do.
7. My only phobia is toothpaste. Yes, I still brush my teeth, but when I see toothpaste in the sink, I get a gag reflex.
8. Anyone that’s watched Aquamarine and runs up to tell me warms my heart because they end up sharing the sweetest friend sleepover stories.
9. [The streamers I watch most are] Apple because it’s easy to find everything, Hulu because I watch live TV there, and Paramount+ because, well, Yellowstone universe.
10. My go-to karaoke song was “Gangsta’s Paradise.”I think that started with Brittany Snow while filming John Tucker Must Die.
11. The charities I work closely with are Saving Gracie, American Wild Horse Conservation and Skydog Sanctuary. I’m passionate about wild horses and rescues.
12. I loved the table reads on Gilmore Girls. It was my first job in L.A., and I watched the other actors in awe.
13. In middle school I wanted the nickname Elle, like Elle Macpherson, of course. It never stuck, of course.
14. When I hear John Tucker, I immediately think of the writer Jeff Lowell. Although we weren’t close, it’s still hard for me to believe he crossed over this year. Rest in love, Jeff.
15. I feel like the performance I’m craving to do is waiting in the wings to show itself.
16. I filmed a stunt for The Bone Collector on real NYC subway tracks. It was both exhilarating and nerve-racking
17. My bucket list includes one of those horse safari rides in South Africa and a romantic trip to Greece.
18. The most starstruck I’ve been was at the Stepford Wives premiere, when I worked up courage to talk to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.I walked back to my sister and asked how it went. She said, “You looked so nervous your eyeballs were shaking!”
19. I’m not sure if it’s a secret [talent], but I do love to dance. [I was] on an all-star dance squad that placed fourth at nationals.
20. I quote anything and everything from Ace Ventura 1 and 2.
21. My first acting job was a Creed music video when I was 15. It jump-started my career.
22. I collect crystals, vintage jewelry and, if I could do more right now, animals —specifically horses and donkeys.
23. To decompress after a stressful day, I’ll take a salt bath, listen to music and dance or turn on Friends and zone out.
24. My dream collaborators are Chloé Zhao, Sandra Bullock, Steven Spielberg and James Cameron.
25. I’d love to be a part of the Gilmore Girls doc. It has such a special place in my heart.
