The fan-favorite Paramount Plus TV show Yellowjackets is set to return for its fourth and final season on Nov. 20, and now, the official trailer has been released, promising fans of the show an action-packed, emotional and no doubt quite disturbing conclusion to this beloved series.
Already, fans have gotten to see a Yellowjackets Season 4 teaser, which confirmed that audiences will get to watch this group of stranded soccer players who turn more than a little bit Lord of the Flies return to their homes and families and try to live a ‘normal’ life.

Given that, from the very beginning, the show has jumped between timelines in which the Yellowjackets team members are teens and adults—for the survivors, at least, in terms of the latter—it’s already established that there’s nothing normal about their lives from the moment the plane crash happened.
Now, the Season 4 trailer has made it all the clearer that this return home is far from smooth, and that a significant part of Season 4 will shed light on the huge, painful complexities of this return. Check it out below.
In addition to this exploration of what it’s like for these girls to return to their homes, school and families after suffering such severe trauma and engaging in multiple morally abhorrent behaviors (even if it’s fairly understandable, given their situation), this final season will need to wrap up myriad story arcs, from major character deaths and broken marriages to ongoing violence between the surviving Yellowjackets and more.
There’s no doubt that fans will be devastated to see this show come to an end, but the good news is, this trailer leaves no question that the fourth season will be an epic conclusion. Thankfully, the wait is also almost over, as Season 4 debuts in just two weeks.
