Caleb Williams Continues to Make Bears and NFL History With Seemingly Every Pass ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

In addition to making Bears and NFL history with seemingly every pass he throws, quarterback Caleb Williams looks cool while doing it.

C’mon, now. How many QBs are making a throw like the one in our featured image above?

This is what Williams’ stat line looked like after the Bears’ win against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football:

24/37 (64.86%) 247 yards (7.3 yards/attempt) 1 TD 0 INT 101.0 passer rating

Caleb Williams has been awesome since returning from injury. He has posted a 111.3 passer rating, completed 76 of 103 passes (73.8%), thrown for 860 yards and 4 touchdowns, and thrown no interceptions. The Bears are 3-0 in those games and have scored at least 30 points in each of those games. And for good measure, the team hasn’t trailed in any of those games. This is unlike anything Bears fans have ever seen from their quarterback or their offense. Soak it all in, friends. These are the good old days we’ll be talking about 20-30 years from now.

Some QB1 fun facts from around the web:

A tremendous pull from Clay Harbor, who notes Williams went 5-for-8 for 104 yards on throws of 10+ yards over the middle. It was also the first time the Seahawks defense allowed positive EPA this season. And it’s not as if the Seahawks defense is out here bum-slaying. They’ve faced Justin Herbert, Brock Purdy, Bo Nix, and Patrick Mahomes this season. (Clay Harbor) Williams has the most passing yards in a quarterback’s first three seasons (8,750) in franchise history. (Kevin Fishbain) Williams has thrown just 14 interceptions over the last three seasons, the fewest among quarterbacks who have thrown it at least 1,000 times. (PFF) Williams is the first quarterback in Bears history to have 0 turnovers while leading the team to 30+ points in three straight games. (Doug Clawson) Williams set an all-time NFL record by reaching 36 consecutive regular-season games with at least 20 pass attempts and no more than one interception. It’s an obscure record, to be sure. But a fun one. And he takes down Aaron Rodgers (who held the record previously with 35) in the process. Lovely! (Ken Mitchell)

Some Caleb Williams highlights, because who doesn’t want that?

Football is fun when Caleb Williams is your quarterback:

Ben Johnson just had the ball snapped to D’Andre Swift, who tossed it to Caleb Williams, who then threw a rope to Rome Odunze. Fun!! t.co/CisR9PBSJg

— Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) November 3, 2026 Watching Williams elude would-be tacklers reminds me of how Javy Báez would “El Mago” his way out of a tag with his swim move:

This is like football El Mago t.co/SFSmOEbzoz

— Bleacher Nation Bears (@BN_Bears) November 3, 2026 The sideline footage of Williams reminds me of the stuff that we used to see from Tom Brady. Given Caleb’s relationship with Tom, this tracks:

"I don’t give a fuck who they are." Caleb Williams is not messing around‼️ t.co/YjWFMvPyRC

— Greg Braggs Jr. (@GBraggsJr23) November 3, 2026 I’m truly convinced narratives were built around Williams going into the 2024 NFL Draft solely to pressure the Bears to either trade the pick or use it to select anyone but Williams. Here’s to the folks at Halas Hall who didn’t fall for the banana in the tailpipe:

People really tried telling you that Caleb had bad body language, was a diva and a bad teammate. Look how much he cares.

Caleb Williams and the Race to 4,000 Yards

An updated look at QB1’s numbers after five games:

112/158 (70.9%) 1,267 yards (8.0 yards/attempt) 6 touchdowns 1 interception 104.6 passer rating 17-game pace: 380/537, 4,307 yards, 20 TD, 3 INT

You’d think that missing time due to injury would throw Caleb Williams wildly off the pace. But if Williams keeps playing at the pace he has set since returning from injury, this is what his numbers could look like at season’s end:

14 games 339/466 3,847 passing yards 18 touchdowns 1 INT

OK, so Williams has some work to do to get back onto the 4,000-yard pace. But given the data above, a 4,000-yard passing season in 2026 is possible. And because the Seahawks defense isn’t on the calendar again, it is a real chance. Even if it doesn’t, if Williams wins his 4 of 5 starts from here on out, I don’t think Bears fans will care how many yards he throws for, so long as this team keeps stacking victories.
