For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Futures Championship finalist Zoie Boyle has announced her verbal commitment to swim for the University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2028. A high school junior from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, Boyle currently trains year-round with Northeast Swim Club. She primarily specializes in sprint free, back and breast.

“I am thrilled and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and D1 athletic career at The University of Wyoming! To my friends, and family thank you for all of your support. Thank you, Coach Anthony, for all of your faith in me through everything and always supporting my goals. Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to Coach Dave, Coach Sydney, and the entire Wyoming staff and team for this incredible opportunity. I am beyond excited to start this next chapter! All glory to God. GO POKES!!!! ”

At the 2026 PDR Sweetheart Invitational in February, Boyle posted a series of fast swims, clocking lifetime best performances in four events. She won the 50 free (24.15), 100 free (52.50), 50 back (26.57 – PB) and 100 breast (1:03.16 – PB), and she took the runner-up spot in the 50 breast (29.36 – PB) and 100 fly (56.95 – PB).

Boyle turned in another string of top performances at the 2026 St. Mary’s City Sectionals a month later, earning a second swim in all six of her individual races. She placed 3rd in the 50 breast (28.85 – PB) and 100 breast (1:02.88 – PB), 5th in the 50 fly (25.51 – PB), 8th in the 50 back (26.45) and 100 back (58.50) and 12th in the 50 free (24.19). She also set a lifetime best in the 50 back (26.16) as the leadoff on the 200 medley relay.

At the 2026 Futures Championship (LCM) in Greensboro, Boyle earned a second swim in two events and logged personal best times in three events. She placed 14th in the 50 back (30.55 – PB) and 19th in the 50 breast (34.42) after setting a best time of 34.36 during prelims. She also contested the 50 free (27.40 – PB), 100 free (1:00.81) and 100 back (1:09.87).

Boyle still holds a handful of personal best times from the 2024-2025 season, including in the 50 free (23.75) and 100 back (56.12); she set both lifetime bests at the 2025 Middle Atlantic Junior Championships. She also holds a best time of 51.62 in the 100 free from the 2025 NSC Winter Wipeout meet in December.

Best Times SCY:

50 back – 26.16 100 back – 56.12 100 breast – 1:02.88 50 free – 23.75 100 free – 51.62

A Division I Mid-Major program, the Wyoming women compete in the Mountain West Conference, with the team placing 7th at last season’s conference championships before sending three athletes to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Championship. Based on the results from the 2026 Mountain West Conference Championships, Boyle would have landed in the ‘C’ final in the 100 back and 100 breast, putting her in a position to score some points early on for Wyoming.

On the team itself, Boyle would have been the Cowgirls’ 2nd-fastest competitor in the 100 breast, 3rd-fastest in the 100 back and 4th-fastest in the 50 back last season, setting her up to be a key contributor when she joins the team.

The only other recruit currently committed to join Boyle in Wyoming’s class of 2032 is Danielle Giddens, a freestyle specialist from Oviedo, Florida.
