OnlyFans has become one of the most talked-about platforms among influencers and celebrities. Trisha Paytas is looking back on her past in adult entertainment and how she regrets the NSFW content she posted.
The influencer appeared on a recent episode of Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast and spoke about how her views on posting on OnlyFans have changed compared to years ago. She explains she stripped for “four to five years” and started using OnlyFans when it came back into popularity.
“I don’t want to sound judgy, but it’s more toward myself [and] it’s more toward young me. I’m, like, disgusted,” Paytas revealed.
Paytas used the platform to post explicit content from 2020 to 2023, and reported on her X account that she was changing the content being uploaded. While still using OnlyFans, she explained no longer selling “explicit stuff” and “just nudes,” as her views about it have changed since becoming a mom.”
The influencer welcomed her first child, Malibu Barbie, in September 2022 with her husband, Moses Hacmon. She gave birth to their second child two years later, in 2024. On the podcast, Paytas admits to having regrets, even more so when realizing her body count made her feel “judged.”
“I was just talking about this the other day. People were talking about body counts and how it doesn’t matter,” she told Shetty. “People say, ‘I’ve been with four people, I’ve been with 100 people.’ Someone who I trust, who was a really good friend of mine, and she’s like, ‘What’s yours?’”
Paytas revealed to her friend that she had slept with “thousands,” but didn’t reveal whether the number was strictly during her years of posting explicit content.
“She was, like, shocked, and then I was, too. You really think about it and you’re like, ‘That’s really gross [and] that’s really disgusting,’” the content creator acknowledged. “I think I really just have low value in myself that I was taking any dollar amount to touch my body.”
Looking back at her OnlyFans content and career, Paytas adds that she’s become “more spiritual” and, at the time, noticed a shift in herself and who she was. The more NSFW content she created, the “more negative” she became, and she hated it. While Paytas now finds sex work to be “disgusting,” she doesn’t judge those who are in the industry.
“I don’t want to judge other people because you have to do what you have to do,” Paytas stated. “I did it out of desperation, I did it out [for] money. Like, I’m so disgusted with myself [that] I can’t sleep at night. … Especially lately, it’s been a little haunting.”
She now talks about her experience to hopefully influence at least one person not to do what she did and that “there’s other ways.” Paytas is now an active podcaster, live performer, and author.
