Mercenary: An Extraction Series also wrapped filming in March 2026, and is the first TV spinoff in the franchise. Omar Sy stars as Kalidou Diallo, a mercenary who needs to handle Libya’s warring factions to get hostages out. It’s an eight-episode series that is also expected during the first half of 2027.
As for Extraction 3, previous installments have needed a 15-month turnaround time or so between wrapping production and releasing. With that in mind, the earliest we’re looking at is the end of 2027, but we may need to wait until early 2028, which could allow Netflix to space out its Extraction-themed content better for subscribers.
