Getting started with the Razer Reclusa Mini 65% was a straightforward process. Inside the box, you will find the keyboard, a Razer keycap puller, the instruction documentation, a USB-C cable, and Razer’s USB adapter for the wireless dongle. Everything is neatly packaged, and you have what you need to get started right away. Setting up the keyboard was easy, and I was able to get everything connected without any hassle.
Once I opened Razer Synapse, I spent a little time adjusting the settings to my liking, including the keyboard’s lighting and key sensitivity. The software makes it easy to navigate the different customization options, so I didn’t have to spend much time figuring everything out. After making a few adjustments in the Razer app, I was ready to go. The whole process was quick and painless, letting me get straight into gaming without dealing with a complicated setup.
Overall Use
As someone who has always loved Razer keyboards, I was excited to get my hands on the Razer Reclusa Mini 65%. Razer has built a strong reputation in the gaming community, and the original wired Reclusa helped introduce gamers to the lineup. I am really glad to see Razer bring wireless connectivity to the Reclusa family while adding so many modern features. The compact 65% layout is great for keeping my desk organized and giving me more room for mouse movement, especially when gaming. I spent time playing Fortnite with the Reclusa Mini 65%, and the experience was excellent.
The Hall Effect magnetic switches felt incredibly responsive, and being able to adjust actuation from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm gave me plenty of control over how the keyboard responded to my inputs. Features like Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap are particularly useful for competitive gaming, where quick movement and precise inputs can make a difference. I also appreciated the choice of three connection options, including 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB. The wired connection supports up to an impressive 8,000 Hz polling rate, while wireless supports up to 1,000 Hz.
Another area where Razer does a great job is its software. Razer Synapse makes it easy to adjust key actuation, customize Chroma RGB lighting, configure supported gaming features, and calibrate the magnetic switches. I found the customization options useful because they let me set the keyboard up around my own preferences rather than being stuck with one configuration. The multi-function dial is another nice addition, making it easy to adjust things like volume and brightness without interrupting what I am doing. I also like the attention Razer has paid to the typing experience, with silicone dampeners and IXPE foam helping reduce unwanted resonance while giving the keyboard a more satisfying sound.
The hot-swappable magnetic switch design is another big plus for anyone who enjoys customizing their setup. Overall, the Reclusa Mini 65% combines the performance and customization I have come to expect from Razer with the convenience of wireless connectivity. As someone who already enjoys Razer keyboards, I am happy to see the Reclusa lineup continue to evolve, and this keyboard was a great fit for my Fortnite sessions and everyday use.
Conclusion
The Razer Reclusa Mini 65% is a great addition to Razer’s keyboard lineup, and as someone who has always been a fan of Razer keyboards, I am happy to see the Reclusa family continue to evolve. Bringing wireless connectivity to the lineup while adding Hall Effect magnetic switches, adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger, and extensive customization makes this keyboard appealing to both everyday users and competitive gamers.
I especially enjoyed using it to play Fortnite, where the responsive switches and compact design made for a great gaming experience. Razer Synapse also deserves credit for making it easy to adjust the keyboard’s settings and customize the experience without a complicated learning process. Between the satisfying typing feel, customizable RGB lighting, hot-swappable switches, and multiple connection options, there is a lot to appreciate here.
At $129.99, it offers an impressive set of features for gamers who want more control over how their keyboard performs. I would have liked to see a few more conveniences, but overall, the Reclusa Mini 65% delivers the performance, customization, and quality I have come to expect from Razer. I am glad to see this lineup moving forward, and this wireless version is a welcome addition for anyone who wants a compact gaming keyboard without giving up the features that matter most.
