This match will be crucial for all four teams if they want to move on to the postseason.
Tennessee has a very strong roster, and they nearly took down Virginia, the only undefeated team this season, in the 4th CSL match, which bodes well for their performance here. If they win the meet, they will lock up postseason participation, but the number of points they score will determine where they go. If they bring in more than 521.33 points, they will move on to the Championships, and if they score less than that they will race in the wild card.
Auburn and Alabama will both be battling for 2nd place after they both took 3rd in their initial CSL match. We will also be watching the point totals for Auburn and Alabama. If Auburn finishes 2nd, they need to score more than 397.5 points to advance and if Alabama finishes 2nd, they will need to score more than 499 points to advance.
Georgia is in a difficult position. If they win the match, they will advance if certain criteria is met. If Tennessee finishes 2nd, the Bulldogs would need to score more than 557.5 points to move to the wild card, but if any other team finishes 2nd, they will advance.

Jackpots happen when the athlete who wins beats any of the athletes by a predetermined amount outlined in the rules here. The winner steals the points of all athletes who they beat by the margin.
If they only beat the 8th place athlete by the designated amount, they will earn 10 points. If they beat the 7th and 8th place athletes, they will earn 12 points etc. We will do our best to track it in the live recap, but the meet moves fast.
Scoring Note: DQs
The 3rd CSL match brought DQs into the forefront in a massive light after Stanford came out on top of Cal following jackpot DQ points in both of the final relays.
If an athlete/team is disqualified, the winner of the event steals their points, even if they came in under the jackpot threshold. This is true for both individual and relay events.
