The Gothic psychological drama from Apple and StudioCanal reportedly concerns a married American couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a baby, where they realize they may not know each other as well as they thought as they struggle to claim the child.

Following a performance of her sexy environmental anthem “Supernature” — which was written by Gener8ion — Charli and the rest of the swanks at the event, including vain action movie star Mike Tyler (Chris Evans), the world’s richest Man, Ben Bracken (Vincent Cassel) and his glamorous wife, pop star Gloria Bracken (Salma Hayek), are taken hostage by a crazed ecological group that believes the end of the world is coming. Rapper Yung Lean also appears in the film as the brother of lead eco terrorist Joan (Anya Taylor-Joy).
That role comes on the heels of her parts in the dramas Erupcja, 100 Nights of Hero, The Gallerist, Faces of Death, I Want Your Sex and The Moment, a tour mockumentary in which she played a heightened version of herself.
What Happens at Night is the follow-up to Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated 2023 drama Killers of the Flower Moon; no release date has been announced for the movie.
Charli is gearing up for the final 2026 date of her Music, Fashion, Film tour, which is slated to wind-down on Friday night (Oct. 23) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The singer canceled the penultimate show in the tour in Glendale, Ariz. on Wednesday (Oct. 21) after telling fans that she had “completely lost” her voice.
