The Battles resumed tonight for Season 30 of The Voice with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, Adam Levine and Riley Green paring two of their teammates in sing-offs that determined who moved on to Cut Week and who went home.
The Battles also saw the return of celebrity advisors. Kelly Clarkson worked with Ariana DeBose, Queen Latifah worked with Patti LaBelle, Adam Levine worked with Alex Warren and Riley Green worked with Carley Pearce.

Adam said: “Owen just has this intangible, awesome quality to his voice. I need to see more. He brings you into his world. He has such a cool way of delivering. He’s like singing with a smile and I am a sucker for that.”

Battle Round 4: Kyle Davis vs Matthew Chiu from Team Kelly

Kelly said: “Kyle and Matthew that was the hardest Battle for me yet. I was on the verge of picking Matthew because he worked so hard for it but Kyle just opens his mouth and it’s like, ‘Oh, that’s super special.’ He does really well with songs with spaces. He sings those big notes with that tone and that rasp; there’s so much life in his voice.”
Battle Round 5: Amanda Mikkel vs Julia Clark from Team Adam
