Florida Senior Championships finalist Zoee Fulton has announced her verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of West Florida, becoming the first commit in the Argonauts’ class of 2027. She publicized the following quote:
I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of West Florida! Thank you to my family and to all the coaches in my life that have helped met to where I am today! I would also like to thank Coach Chris, and all the UWF Staff for giving me this opportunity. GO ARGOS!!
Fulton is a senior at Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, but does her year-round training and racing with Hydro Swim Club in Ormond Beach, where she specializes in breaststroke and short IM. She is coming off a 2025-26 season that saw her drop nearly eight seconds in the 400 IM, a second and a half in the 200 IM and nearly a second in both breaststroke events.
Fulton set the majority of her current lifetime bests at the Florida Senior Championships last March, where she placed third in the 200 IM (2:08.90) and 200 breast (2:21.05), and ninth in the 100 breast (1:05.37). She also swam the 400 IM, where she touched eighth in 4:43.93; she owns a career-best 4:32.97 from the Speedo Cup in January.

At the 2026 ASUN Championships, Fulton’s current personal bests in the 200 breast and 400 IM would have qualified for the ‘B’ finals, while her 100 breast and 200 IM times would have made the ‘C’ finals. That already sets her up to contribute right away, with two full seasons of training still ahead before her first conference meet.
