At this point, Taylor Swift breaking records is about as surprising as the sun coming up.
Still, the 36-year-old pop superstar has somehow found another piece of Billboard history to claim—and she brought four new songs along for the ride.
Swift’s “Patient Zero” debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts dated Oct. 10, leading a massive showing for the four new tracks featured on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.
“Cleveland!” followed at No. 2 on the Global 200, while “Babylon” landed at No. 3 and “Pink Clouding” debuted at No. 5.
And that’s where the history comes in.
The four debuts bring Swift to 47 career top 10s on the Global 200, officially pushing her past Drake’s previous record of 45 for the most since Billboard launched the worldwide chart in 2020.

“Patient Zero” brought another milestone of its own. The song is Swift’s eighth Global 200 No. 1, tying BTS for the most since the chart’s inception.
The domination doesn’t stop at U.S. borders—or, more accurately, it doesn’t need them.
All four new songs also debuted within the top 10 of Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, where Swift extended her existing record to 34 career top 10s. “Patient Zero” landed at No. 1 there as well, giving Swift her fifth chart-topper and breaking her tie with Bad Bunny and Ariana Grande for the most among solo artists.
Not too shabby for a handful of surprise bonus tracks delivered to her avid fans.
The new music arrived as part of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, an expanded edition of Swift’s 2025 album.
