The entrepreneur, actress, and mom of three recently attended a Y2K end-of-summer party hosted by Paris Hilton and did so in an ensemble that would no doubt get the approval of Kirsten, Gibby, and Kristin, the three popular girls in the iconic campus comedy Never Been Kissed.

But there’s an especially fun twist: The outfit wasn’t even Alba’s idea. Her 15-year-old daughter, Haven, pulled the pieces from her own closet and helped style her mom for the party.
Jessica Alba Borrowed Her Daughter’s Y2K Outfit
Rocking a star-print cropped tank top with a tiny, low-rise miniskirt and knee-high boots, the 45-year-old Honey star fully embraced the early-2000s aesthetic.
“Haven said hold please … When your 15-year-old daughter pulls from her closet to dress you for a Y2K party … thank you Haven,” Alba wrote on Instagram.
Alba finished the look with layered gold necklaces, a chunky cuff bracelet, and hoop earrings. Her brunette hair was styled half-up with loose pieces framing her face, completing the throwback look.
The fit was especially fitting for Hilton’s party, which was specifically themed around Y2K nostalgia. Hilton told Vanity Fair ahead of the event that the end-of-summer bash would take place at her Beverly Park home, with Hilton herself deejaying.

And Alba had another connection to that era: She was just 18 when Never Been Kissed hit theaters in 1999, playing Kirsten Liosis, one of the film’s trio of popular girls alongside Jordan Ladd’s Gibby Zerefski and Marley Shelton’s Kristin Davis.
