2026 will go down as a year of major transition for actress Lori Loughlin, and she’s relieved to be feeling “really at peace” about her next chapter.
Personally, the former Full House star is fully embracing her independence and after 30 years of marriage, filing for divorce from her second husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, in early September. The former couple, who separated in 2025, shares daughters Bella Rose, 28, and Olivia Jade, 27.
Professionally, Loughlin has not only returned to Hallmark Channel after seven years, but is branching out with her first-ever fashion line alongside her longtime bestie, QVC designer and personality Laurie Felt.
“It’s been my year of ‘yes’ — yes, let’s go, let’s embrace all of it,” Loughlin, 62, exclusively told Parade. “You have to make different transitions — some you choose, some you don’t. But I think it’s all in how you look at it and how you choose to embrace it. Every day in life, we have a choice. Like, we can crumble or we can keep lifting ourselves up and keep (going).”

I will keep pushing forward. And I think what I found in this last year, which has been so great and, I think, allowed me to open up and really embrace the world, is I found a really nice inner peace. I feel really at peace.”
On Monday, October 5, Loughlin and Felt will appear on QVC to debut the first pieces from their new clothing collection, called LOLA (the first two letters of their names, combined), featuring two sweater designs and two denim jean styles, including one they cheekily nicknamed “The Ex-Husband.”
Laughing, Loughlin told Parade that she and Felt, who met 35 years ago and grew close after both had navigated divorces from their first husbands, came up with “The Ex-Husband” nickname over a glass of Chardonnay, thinking it was a “hilarious” twist on the boyfriend jean.

“It’s not about picking on an ex-husband, that’s not what it’s about,” Loughlin said. “It’s really symbolic of a new chapter in your life, you know? Sometimes things don’t work out the way you figure they’re going to, or sometimes you have to make a change or a switch for various reasons. Just know that (it’s) okay, it’s a new chapter. You got this. Don’t be afraid.”
Felt, who’s been married to Lionsgate Studios CEO Jon Feltheimer since 1999, echoed that the “Ex-Husband Jeans” are symbolic of any big change, noting, “I cried buckets of tears over becoming an empty nester this year. … So we made them a touch sexy because when things change, maybe you want a little glow up.”
“It is hard,” Loughlin acknowledged of navigating those big life transitions. “I know a lot of people can get paralyzed by change, but we really wanted to say, ‘This is an opportunity to find yourself, learn more about yourself, try new things, reinvent yourself.’ That’s where (the ‘Ex-Husband’ name) came from, really about trying to make women feel empowered.”
Felt and Loughlin will introduce their LOLA line to QVC viewers on October 5 at 9 p.m. ET (pssst — items may start showing up online before they go live on-air), with plans to expand the collection in future months. Meanwhile, Loughlin’s next Hallmark Channel movie, What If Christmas, premieres on October 25, and she’ll return to the network’s long-running series When Calls The Heart in January 2027.
