The Chicago White Sox have won three consecutive playoff games away from Rate Field, but when will they come home for their fans to enjoy postseason baseball?
The White Sox won both of their games against the Houston Astros in the Wild Card Series, and they followed that up with a win over the Cleveland Guardians in Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Saturday at Progressive Field.
Now, the White Sox will have one more game on the road before they head home to take on the Guardians in Game 3 of the ALDS, and fans won’t have to wait long for that contest.
Game 3 between the White Sox and Guardians is currently set for Wednesday afternoon in Chicago, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. Central time according to MLB.
The following game, if it ends up being necessary, would be played on Thursday, with first pitch at 4 p.m. at Rate Field.
Fans hoping to snag tickets to either game will have to pony up, however. According to Vivid Seats, the get-in price for Game 3 on Wednesday, with temperatures in the 60s and sunny skies expected, is approximately $328.
Game 4’s prices aren’t much cheaper, with the get-in price currently at $254 for the game.
Ticket prices are roughly the same on Stubhub, with a get-in price of $348 for the Wednesday game, and on SeatGeek, with the minimum price at $334.
The White Sox are currently leading the best-of-five series one game to zero, and are hoping to seize control of the series on Monday, with Game 2 set to take place beginning at 4 p.m. at Cleveland’s Progressive Field.
