Just one day before the Beach Boys were set to take the stage in West Springfield, Massachusetts, the band canceled a string of comeback shows.
In addition to their Massachusetts concert—which was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 24—the Beach Boys also axed a show in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, set for September 25, and another in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, planned for September 27.
No explanation was given as to the reason behind the band’s cancellations.
“Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Univest Performance Center, the Beach Boys concert scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, has been canceled,” a message on the venue site read.
The band’s next scheduled show is currently scheduled for October 9 at the Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, Illinois.
The Beach Boys are currently celebrating the 60th anniversary of Pet Sounds on the road. Earlier this summer, the group was forced to postpone a number of shows due to frontman Mike Love’s health.
