“Meet Merritt Presley Mayo, grandbaby #12, and the sweetest and most beautiful answer to prayer, beyond all we asked or imagined. We are in LOVE,” Korie, 52, captioned the Instagram post, revealing the baby girl’s adorable name.
“Just one day after @bellarobmayo birthday, I got to witness her, my baby girl, give birth to her baby girl. There are no words to describe the gratefulness that we feel!”
She continued, “Bella, you are superwoman! Such an amazing mama. Watching you wait on the Lord and trust in Him even when it was so hard has been a beautiful witness, and now to watch you as a mama to Merritt, simply the greatest gift!”

“Our rainbow baby!!!!!! 6 lb 8 oz of pure perfection — our girl, Merritt Presley Mayo! Trust in God, He is so faithful,” she wrote. Her sister, Sadie Robertson, also commented, writing, “Best kept secret and best day EVER!!! We love you Merritt Mayo.”
Bella and her husband, Jacob Mayo, 27, welcomed their first child together five years after tying the knot.
“We started dating because he came home from college to be here for quarantine, and that’s been a big factor,” Bella told ET at the time. “But on top of that, in the South so many people get married so young. Like, my parents got married at 18, my brother got married at 18, my grandparents married at 18. It’s very common around here, so it didn’t really shock me too much about my age.”
The Robertson family just keeps growing, and the grandparents couldn’t be more excited.
