A ‘dearly missed' Bears Game Day feature is making a return in Chicago this season ...Middle East

News by : (NBC Chicago) -

A fan favorite for getting to Soldier Field on Bears game days is making a return.

The free shuttle from Millennium Garages will once again run for all nine Bears home games.

The popular shuttle will make its return Sunday starting with the Bears’ home opener against the Vikings and “will operate for every Bears home game during the 2026 regular season including matchups against the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.”

Service had been canceled last season, but will return thanks to a sponsorship from GEICO following “efforts led by [42nd Ward Ald. Brendan Reilly] and Millennium Garages.”

The shuttle will be free and open to all fans, including those who don’t park at the garage.

It will run between Lower Lower Randolph, near the Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Station, and the 18th Street turnaround near Soldier Field, according to a release. “Dedicated accessible shuttle service” will also run between Millennium Park Garage and Gate 14 at Soldier Field.

The shuttle will operate starting three hours before kick-off and will end two hours after the final whistle.

“The Millennium Garages Bears gameday shuttle was a dearly missed service for downtown Chicago, and I am pleased that we have been able to bring it back,” Reilly said in a statement. “It provides Bears fans with another convenient and accessible way to reach Soldier Field, while helping reduce gameday traffic through downtown and along the lakefront. I appreciate GEICO for making its return possible.”

Here’s what to know about the service:

Cost: Free

Who can ride: Open to everyone. No Millennium Garages parking reservation is required.

Pick-up and drop-off location near Millennium Garage: Lower Lower Randolph, adjacent to Millennium Park Garage and the east exit of Millennium Station

Soldier Field pickup and drop-off: Base of the 18th Street Pedestrian Bridge (West)

Accessible service: Dedicated service between Millennium Park Garage and Gate 14 at Soldier Field
