If you’re already a fan of HexClad’s hybrid cookware, the brand has some big news: It’s expanding into bakeware for the first time.
HexClad is taking its product line from the stovetop to the oven. HexClad Hybrid Bakeware is available for pre-sale now, and the brand calls the line “meticulously engineered to challenge the limitations of traditional nonstick bakeware.”
Made with a new formulation of the brand’s TerraBond nonstick, the line allows for easy release of baked goods while standing up to sustained oven temperatures. HexClad Hybrid Bakeware is also metal-utensil safe and designed to resist warping. HexClad says the bakeware is designed to distribute heat evenly and consistently, and the collection is backed by the brand’s lifetime warranty. What’s more, HexClad says in addition to rigorous testing by its own product and engineering teams, well-known chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Dominique Crenn, and Nancy Silverton tested the bakeware.
In a press release about the new line of nonstick bakeware, Daniel Winer, CEO and co-founder of HexClad, revealed that bakeware has been one of the most requested categories by HexClad customers, describing the experience of creating bakeware as “much more complicated than simply taking our cookware and putting it in the oven.”
“We wanted the easy release people love about nonstick without the compromises they’ve come to accept,” said Winer. “It took four years because we kept pushing until we had the right combination of nonstick performance, durability and consistency. If we’re going to enter a category, we want to raise the standard for it.”
