WARREN — Carol D. Gransee, 79, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at Windsor House at Champion.
She was born June 1, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Graves Gransee.
Carol was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Class of 1965, and retired from Delphi Packard Electric Corp. after 33 years.
Carol was a member at Church at Warren, where she traveled to Israel, several Assemblies of God, the Believers Church and Pleasant Valley Church, where she made her second trip to Israel and was baptized with her friend, Linda, in the River Jordan.
Carol fought nine different battles with cancer. During these battles she relied on Linda, whom she met at work, who was also fighting her own medical battles. They took their medical issues as a challenge to live life to the fullest. They got motorcycles and rode all over, including to Bike Week in Sturgis and Daytona. Carol also enjoyed riding horses and going out on the boat on Lake Erie.
She is survived by a brother, Christopher Gransee, and a longtime friend, Linda Cain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Yozwick and Irene Bates.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at North Bloomfield Assembly of God. Friends and family may gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, and also from noon until the 1 p.m. service time Tuesday, at the church in North Bloomfield.
Carol will be laid to rest in Brownwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
