Godsmack has been busy on the road celebrating its decades-long career, and now the band is adding two more stops to its 2026 schedule. The newly announced shows will take place Dec. 20 at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina, and Dec. 27 at Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland.
The dates extend Godsmack’s The Rise of Rock World Tour, which features Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy on portions of the 2026 run. According to the band’s website, presale for both dates launched today, with the general sale opening Friday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. ET.

Before Godsmack launched the fall leg of its tour, they wrapped a wildly successful summer run that included a show in Poland, so massive frontman Sully Erna could hardly process the 700,000 headcount.
“Hello, Internet people,” he said in a video posted to Instagram the following night. “I wanted to stop by and give you guys a little bit of an update on what’s happening. … I had to tell you about this show that we did last night.”
After praising every country he and the band visited up to that point, Erna opened up about his surreal experience, which reached several hundred thousand people.
“Last night, we did a show in Poland—at the Pol’and’Rock Fest—and we headlined this festival that drew 700,000 people. That’s a real f—in number. You can look it up. And, yeah, so pretty surreal. Not even sure it even happened, but it did, and I gotta say, ‘Holy f—in shit.’ I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. … Insanity.”
On The Rise of Rock World Tour, Godsmack is performing hits from its final studio album, Lighting Up the Sky, while also playing some of the greatest hits from their career. That means hits like “Voodoo,” “I Stand Alone,” and “Awake” are all on the docket.
Formed in 1995 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Godsmack spent its early days rocking along the Boston club circuit before making its album debut two years later on an independent record, All Wound Up. The album caught Universal Records’ attention, which reissued it as the band’s self-titled major-label debut in 1998.
According to Live Nation, the band has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and amassed 20 Top 10 hits on mainstream rock radio, including 11 No. 1 singles. The alternative/nu-metal legends have also earned four Grammy nominations, including two for “I Stand Alone,” its 2002 hit from The Scorpion King soundtrack.
Now, more than three decades later, the party rocks on.
