BATAVIA, N.Y. — A man died and two people were injured after two cars collided at a Batavia intersection on Sunday just before 6:45 p.m.
Genesee County sheriff’s deputies say a Jeep rolled through a stop sign on Batavia-Oakfield Townline Road and crashed into a Chrysler minivan traveling along State Route 63. Deputies say a passenger of the Chrysler, Donald Fitch of Basom, died from his injuries.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. New York State Police, the Batavia Fire Department, and the Oakfield Fire Department also responded to the crash.
