NCSA Summer Championships finalist Livia Cremer has announced her verbal commitment to swim for the University of Pennsylvania beginning in the fall of 2027.
“I am incredibly honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admissions process at the University of Pennsylvania to continue my academic and athletic career! I am so grateful for my family, friends, and coaches, especially Coach Dave, Coach Justin, and Coach Ethan who have supported me throughout this process. I would also like to thank Coach Mike and Coach Emma for this amazing opportunity! GO QUAKERS ”
An Illinois native, Cremer recently kicked off her senior year at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, where she has competed for the school’s swimming and diving team for the past three years. In addition to swimming for Saint Ignatius, she currently trains year-round with Chicago Wolfpack Aquatic Club. A versatile threat in the water, Cremer excels at the longer distances of all four strokes as well as the IM events.
At the 2025 Winter Junior Championships in December, Cremer delivered a series of strong performances. She earned a second swim in the 400 IM, placing 18th in a lifetime best time of 4:17.62, and she contested the 200 back (2:03.56), 200 breast (2:19.92) and 200 IM (2:04.46).
Cremer logged two personal best performances a few months later at the 2026 Illinois Senior Championships, where she earned a second swim in three events. She took the runner-up spot in the 1000 free (10:13.07 – PB) and placed 4th in the 200 IM (2:04.33) and 5th in the 500 free (5:01.37). She also finished 14th in the 100 breast (1:05.93) after setting a best time of 1:05.75 during prelims.
Over the summer, Cremer turned in a series of fast swims at the 2026 NCSA Summer Championships (LCM), clocking a lifetime best time in six events. She placed 5th in the 400 IM (4:55.29), 8th in the 800 free (9:06.35, 21st in the 200 IM (2:23.14) and 33rd in the 200 back (2:21.62), posting a best time in each event. She also logged a lifetime best in the 200 breast (2:41.71) before finishing 22nd overall in 2:43.07, and set a personal best in the 100 breast (1:16.71).

The Quakers sent two athletes, Sydney Bergstrom and Anna Moehn, to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships, where they finished 37th overall. Based on the results from the 2026 Ivy League Championships, Cremer would have landed in the ‘B’ final in the 400 IM, the ‘C’ final in the 500 free, 200 back and 200 breast, setting her up to be a strong contributor right from the start.
Joining Cremer in the pool next fall will be Zoey Aydin, Tanja Amizic, Quinn Norlander, Brynn Lewis, Ginger Strickland and Lori Jiang, who should all make for strong training partners during their time together.
