Alison Krauss and Union Station’s 2026 Arcadia Tour was scheduled to continue on Sept. 11 in Davenport, Iowa, but that will no longer be the case.
The band announced on Thursday, Sept. 10, that the remaining 15 dates of the trek have been canceled. A statement on Krauss’ social media page reveals that she has been put on doctor-ordered vocal rest.
View this post on Instagram“It is with great regret that Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced the cancellation of our upcoming tour dates,” the Instagram statement reads. “After consulting with medical professionals, Alison has been advised to take a period of vocal rest to ensure a full and healthy recovery.”
At this point, it is unclear whether Krauss is battling any particular illness, but the band assured fans that the decision was “not made lightly.”
“This decision was not made lightly as we are deeply committed to our fans,” the band’s message continues. However, prioritizing health and vocal integrity is imperative at this time.”
The message also made clear that all tickets purchased for the shows will be fully refunded, and fans are asked to reach out to their point of purchase with any questions.
“We hope to make it back to these cities in the near future,” they concluded in their message.
The band’s Arcadia tour, according to Whiskey Riff, kicked off in April before its break in August. September was supposed to mark the band’s return to the stage after being on the road much of the year.
