“This year’s been really magical. I mean, top moment would probably have to be CMA Fest,” Brian, 41, exclusively told Us on Wednesday, September 2, when celebrating his new album, Coral Beats. “Getting the boys back together, doing the thing at the stadium. The brotherhood is alive and strong, and we’ve got some really exciting plans for next year. It’s just been such a magical year. That’s top of the list.”
In June, Brian and Tyler Hubbard surprised fans at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium when they reunited for their first Florida Georgia Line performance since 2022.
“It was a big build-up to that. It wasn’t just the summer,” Brittney told Us. “That was, like, six months in the making behind the scenes and just a lot of healing and redemption and just amazing moments that we feel like were God-given and things that we prayed for a long time. I think the public got to see that moment at CMA Fest, but it was brewing for us for some months, and that felt surreal and super special.”

While performing massive hits in giant stadiums is always a treat, Brian also loves the simple things in life, including sunsets by the Florida coast and trips to the water.

We did a little trip to Idaho with the Hubbards earlier this year. That was absolutely magical. … They came to our house for four or five days. It’s just been an unbelievable year, and it’s been a ‘Jimmy Buffett Summer.’ Let’s be honest.”
When listening to Brian’s newest solo album, fans will be able to hear the Grammy nominee sing about “boat drinks on ice” and “living on island time.” The catchy tune marks the first time Brian and Brittney have officially written a song together.

Her love for music was evident when we met years and years and years ago before we even got married.”
While Brittney admitted she “did not intend on writing a song that day,” she has always loved lyrics and playing on words.
The finished product — with an accompanying music video featuring the couple — is more than anything Brittney could have imagined.

As Americans unofficially say goodbye to summer over Labor Day weekend, both Brian and Brittney are savoring their Florida hometown and hoping more people can one day experience a “Jimmy Buffett Summer.”
“It’s kind of a place where you try not to miss a sunset,” Brian explained. “You like being up early. You like getting a good walk in. You like being outdoors and fishing as much as we can, and it’s just a really special community.”
