Some moments are very strange, not least when we go diving with two Korean fans, and of course if Oasis’s music leaves you cold, then you’re unlikely to be converted here. While Lovelace and Southern (who both, curiously, made 2010 doc No Distance Left to Run, about Oasis rivals Blur) don’t dig deep into the Gallaghers’ past scuffles, the film captures well the excitement around the reunion, something that even the brothers are taken aback by. “It’s like the rebirth of Christ,” says one fan.
