ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Strong National Museum of Play announced a new exhibit Friday.
The museum is partnering with DreamWorks Animation to bring Gabby’s Dollhouse Meowseum Discovery Days to children in Rochester. The exhibit encourages attendance at children’s museums across the country while celebrating the power of imagination and play.
According to the Senior Director of Communications Shane Rhinewald, kids were loving the new attraction.
“The biggest highlight really has been kids getting to meet Gabby herself in costume. It’s fun to see the kids come in they got these huge smiles on their face. Many of them are dressed up. They have the cat ears,” Rhinewald said. “For them its a wonderful moment where they’re just beaming. And you know it’s going to be a memory that they take away from the museum.”
The exhibit will be at the museum Saturday and Sunday as well.
