GENEVA, N.Y. — This week, the City of Geneva Police Department’s Detective Bureau and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at two homes in the City of Geneva for the sale of crack cocaine.
The search warrant follows a several-week-long investigation into the selling of crack cocaine at a home on Hallenbeck Avenue and another home on Cherry Street, detectives say.
Detectives report that Darnell T. Dye, a 43-year-old from Geneva, and Julius K. Williams, a 51-year-old from Rochester, who are both convicted felons, have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Both suspects were processed at the Geneva Police Department and taken to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and the Canandaigua Police Department also helped with the investigation.
