She continued, “He’s like, ‘I’m the same age that you were when you made that song.’ I was like, ‘No, you’re five, but you are closer probably to that age than I am to that age.’ So it’s pretty funny that he can make that distinction.”

“Candy” currently has 24 million views on YouTube. One listener said, “The fact that she went on to be both a Disney villain and Disney princess, PLUS Emmy winner, is just fantastic. Love Mandy.” Another said, “There are people out there who only know Mandy Moore as an actress, and that’s crazy.”
During her interview, Moore also spoke about the possibility that her son will get into the music industry himself when he’s older. “We have a little songwriter in our midst,” she said. “Our oldest has already written his first album.
