Alex Cooper’s reality dating show Love Overboard has been canceled by Hulu after one season, Us can confirm.
The series, which premiered in March and was hosted by former Bachelorette Gabby Windey, will not return for a second season. (Page Six was first to report the cancellation.)
Love Overboard was produced by Unwell Productions and Jeff Jenkins Productions in association with 3BMG and Walt Disney Television Alternative. Cooper’s husband, Matt Kaplan, served as an executive producer alongside Mina Lefevre at Unwell Productions, Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik and Jason Ehrlich at Jeff Jenkins Productions and Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans at 3BMG.
The series took place on “the ultimate luxury yacht, where sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle … and find love,” per its official synopsis.

The twist? Gaining access to all of the yacht’s amenities wouldn’t be easy. “As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded?” the description continued.
At the end of season 1, contestants Gia and Tim received the most votes and were crowned the winners, earning a $100,000 trip around the world.
While stepping in as host, Windey, 35, revealed that she was “trying to hype up the girls as much as [she] can.”
“Dating in the real world, we know how often women fall victim to f***boys. I want to remind them, ‘Girl, you’re so hot. Act like it. Make them work for it,’” she told Bustle in March. “I have favorites. I can’t help it. I’m very opinionated. I’m like, “Are you sure you want to go with this guy?” I want to guide them, like, “Girl, [pick] this one. But to them, I try to be very objective and keep my expressions under wraps, [though] I don’t know if it’s ever working.”
