In a nod to Becky Donaldson, Loughlin’s beloved character on the show who was co-anchor of the fictional morning show Wake Up, San Francisco, her former co-stars all make brief cameos to individually exclaim, “Wake up, San Francisco!” The video starts with John Stamos, followed by Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber. Why Did Lori Loughlin Leave Instagram?
Fans and friends were thrilled to welcome Loughlin back, too, after her seven-year absence from social media. The actress deleted her Instagram account in March 2019, per People, on the same day news broke that she and her now-estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were accused of playing a role in a national college admissions scandal.
After they both pleaded guilty in May 2020, Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison and was released that December, while Giannulli was sentenced to five months. After nearly 28 years of marriage and two daughters, the couple confirmed in October 2025 they were separating.
