Tiger head coach Will Wade landed a commitment from 7-foot-3 international prospect Gilad Levy on Tuesday. The 24-year-old played 3 seasons of pro basketball in Israel, most recently suiting up for Afula in 2024-25. Across his career, Levy has averaged 1.7 points and just over 2 rebounds per game across 51 appearances, per Basketball Reference.

His best season was back in 2023-24 when he totaled 4.1 points and 3 rebounds per game across 10.7 minutes of action — better than last year’s number’s but still a little under par for those looking to compete in the SEC.
Obviously, Levy’s eligibility is still to be determined — like a few other players committed to LSU’s roster. Marcio Santos, Michael Ruzik and Brice Dessert join Levy as international prospects whose fate will be decided by the NCAA heading into the new season.
