The Bachelor will reportedly return this spring!
According to longtime Bachelor insider Reality Steve, women cast for the upcoming season of The Bachelor have been contacted and told that filming will begin in January, with the season expected to air in either March or April. The blogger and podcaster has correctly spoiled numerous Bachelor, Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise seasons since 2009.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Steve noted that the abbreviated timeline would require ABC to turn around episodes much faster than usual. In previous years, The Bachelor typically wrapped filming in October or November before premiering in January.

Typically, the next Bachelor is a contestant from the previous season of The Bachelorette. However, Taylor Frankie Paul‘s season of The Bachelorette was scheduled to premiere in March before ABC pulled the plug just three days ahead of the premiere. The decision came after TMZ released a previously unseen video that appeared to show Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in 2023.
The Draper and West Jordan police departments in Utah also opened separate domestic violence investigations regarding alleged altercations between Paul and Mortensen that occurred in February 2026.
In April, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced they declined to file charges against Paul for the alleged incidents.
With no word yet on whether or when Paul’s season will air, it remains unclear whether the next Bachelor will be a former contestant or someone new to the franchise.
The future of the Bachelor franchise has been uncertain since the controversy surrounding Paul began. ABC has not officially announced any new Bachelor franchise shows since Paul was named the Bachelorette last year.
No Bachelor franchise show has aired since Bachelor in Paradise season 10 in summer 2025.
