Poehler and Laurie are seen as their characters Elise and Neville in one of the images, while other cast members including Geraldine Viswanathan (Thunderbolts*), Antonia Thomas (Two Weeks in August), Fina Strazza (FBI: Most Wanted), Kayvan Novak (What We Do in the Shadows) and Jon Pointing (Big Boys) are also seen.
The synopsis for the series says: "A team of dedicated archaeologists (and less-dedicated college students) spend their summer working on a dig site in Greece. Their discovery of a rare artefact sends them on the adventure of a lifetime."

The series comes from co-showrunners and executive producers Michael Schur and JJ Philbin, with Schur having previously been behind hit series such as Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place, Rutherford Falls and A Man on the Inside.
Poehler and Schur previously worked together on Parks and Recreation. Meanwhile, Laurie was most recently seen reprising his role as the villainous Richard Roper in The Night Manager season 2, in what was a surprise return.
